Bulb - RANUNCULUS - Mahogany

Among the showiest of bulbs, Ranunculus bloom for weeks providing a brilliant display of 4-6cm blooms on strong 30-50cm stems. Ranuculus are gross feeders and also it is essential to provide good drainage. Plant with ‘claws’ down in groups 3-4cm deep, 6-8cm apart or on the perennial border. Prepare the soil deeply working in bulb food or compost. If drainage is a problem, plant shallower and mound soil over them to 4-5cm in depth.
